Learn to Play Ultimate K-W Clinic Event > 2012

Teamplay.ca's 3RD ANNUAL: Learn to Play Ultimate Event is run to introduce the sport of ultimate ultimate to new players. This is your opportunity to try out or introduce to your friends/family the fastest growing sport in the Kitchener-Waterloo area! If you've never played ultimate before or if you're feeling a little rusty or if you're a pro - this event is for you - everyone is welcome!

This is offered as a FREE event and the only requirement is that you are 16 years of age or older. Remember to bring a friend or your family!

Who:

Everyone is welcome -- all skill levels espcially beginners and new players to the game. Bring your family and freinds...but remember to play, you must be 16 yrs or older. Spectators are very welcome as there is bleacher seating.

What:

We focus on demonstrating the basic ultimate throws (backhand and forehand aks 'flick') and catching techniques as well as explain some basic Teamplay.ca's ultimate rules.

Why:

Learn the basics in a fun evening of ultimate! The focus is on having fun and helping each other learn the fundamentals of the game. If there are enough people, a for-fun scimmage will be played for those interested to wrap up the night.

When:

Monday April 23, 2012 -- from 630pm to 830pm (rain or shine)

Where:

St. David's High School artificial turf field (see map below)
4 HIGH St.
Waterloo, ON

Cost:

FREE of charge to play this night.

Essentials:

Cleats (non-metal) preferred or runners and some drinking water.

In-Person Registration:

This is our final registration night for our spring season. Feel free to come by and pay via cash or cheque and register in person. Just send us an email to let us know and we'll supply you with some details. Ask for Brent or Andrew at the fieldand we'll help you out. There is no obligation to register during this event....just come out and play!
