Learn to Play Ultimate & Warm Up Event > 2010

Teamplay.ca's Learn to Play Ultimate Event is run before the start of our spring season. This is an opportunity for newcomers to the game to try out the newest and most exciting sport in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. If you've never played ultimate before or if you're feeling a little rusty or if you're a pro - this event is for you - everyone is welcome.

We focus on demonstrating the basic ultimate throws (backhand and forehand) as well as explain Teamplay.ca's ultimate rules.

Weather and field conditions permitting, the event will be finished off with a fun and friendly ultimate scrimmage. We feel this is the best way to introduce beginners to the game.

This is offered as a FREE event and the only requirement is that you are 16 years of age or older. Remember to bring a friend!

Who	Everyone is welcome -- from beginners to advanced including new players to the game.
Why	Learn teamplay.ca's ultimate rules and basic techniques in a fun evening of ultimate! The focus is on having fun and helping each other learn the fundamentals of the game.

Time	630pm-800pm
Location	Waterloo Park Open field (see map below)
Cost	FREE
Essentials	Cleats (non-metal) or runners and some drinking water.
In-Person Registration	All who plan on registering and paying in person for all of our sports are welcome to show up and do so this night. Look for Brent, Andrew or Ryan and we'll help you out. Please make cheques are payable to "Teamplay.ca"
